Job Summary

Maintain, install, service, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, & plumbing systems, equipment & components for the casino complex. Maintain the gaming & hotel facility structures and finishes for appearance & functionality. Troubleshoot and repair all areas of the facility involving work of a varied nature with limited supervision. 

Essential Job Duties

1. Lead & coordinate maintenance personnel to complete assigned tasks. 
2. Troubleshoot and repair commercial grade HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical components, systems, & equipment. 
3. Follow blueprints & diagrams to install HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical components, systems, & equipment. 
4. Perform routine maintenance & inspections on HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical components, systems, & equipment. 
5. Perform minor carpentry repairs to building structures & finishes. 
6. Use and maintain tools & equipment in accordance with manufacturer recommendations & industry standards. 
7. Review, verify, and follow all applicable codes & regulations, manufacturer recommendations, and industry standards regarding equipment, systems, and work practices. 
8. Assist and coordinate with a variety of skilled trade personnel to complete job assignments. 
9. Use Company PCs to communicate via email and use internet & software applications, including HVAC automation & UPS network programs. 
10. Submit progress reports, job reports, and completed work orders issued by Department Management in a timely manner. 
11. Communicates and networks effectively with staff, other departments, and outside representatives in order to maintain a productive and effective department operation. 
12. Safeguard and account for the assets of the owners. 
13. Comply with policies and procedures required by the department, the company, the Sac & Fox Gaming Commission, and the National Indian Gaming Commission. 
14. Monitor the casino environment and follow established safety procedures to provide for the safety of guests and co-workers. 
15. Work respectfully and effectively as part of the company team to ensure guest satisfaction, asset protection, and co-worker respect. 
16. Report to work on time and as required in professional attire, display a high level of personal cleanliness and follow personal appearance standards. 

Supplemental Job Duties 

1. Provide building maintenance service to other departments as requested via radio dispatch and work order requests. 
2. Keep time, material for assigned work orders, submits to supervisor upon completion. 
3. Notify Manager of any discrepancies while performing procedures on machinery and/or equipment that may require service from an outside vendor. 
4. Submit Daily Report (work log) to supervisor at end of shift. 
5. Attend all required meetings and training sessions. 
6. Perform other job related duties as assigned. 

Supervisory Responsibilities 

This position will have the authority to; make decisions necessary for carrying out the above listed job duties, coordinating and monitoring daily work assignments, making recommendations to the supervisor, or as directed to; hire, terminate, promote, demote, transfer, provide training opportunities, evaluate performance, create and adjust performance standards, and invoke disciplinary action within approved guidelines. This position may have other supervisory authority assigned as necessary through management. This position has supervision over the General Maintenance Worker during an assigned shift.
