Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager of Project Management to oversee and lead our project management team. This individual will be responsible for the successful planning, execution, and delivery of multiple projects across various departments. The Senior Manager will work closely with stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget, while maintaining the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of project managers, providing guidance and ensuring their professional development.

• Develop and implement project management strategies, methodologies, and best practices across the organization.

• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.

• Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and milestones in collaboration with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders.

• Create and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently and risks are proactively managed.

• Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications, ensuring stakeholders are informed of progress, issues, and changes.

• Monitor and evaluate project performance, providing regular status reports to senior leadership.

• Identify and mitigate risks, resolving project issues in a timely manner.

• Ensure all project documentation is maintained accurately and in compliance with company policies.

• Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes and outcomes.

• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation within the project management team.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

• 8+ years of project management experience, with 3+ years in a senior or leadership role.

• Strong experience in managing cross-functional teams and large, complex projects.

• Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget.

• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Advanced problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to risk management.

• Expertise in project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Asana, Trello).

• In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid approaches.

• Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing tasks effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification preferred.

• Aftermarket Auto Parts or other Retail industry experience
