Senior Manufacturing Engineer – Nutrition – Casa Grande, AZ

We are seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to maintain plant operating departments' equipment, systems and other fixed assets to a high standard of safety, quality and productivity at the lowest possible cost while maintaining compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements. The Senior Manufacturing Engineer is will provide electrical, mechanical & instrument maintenance support as required to avoid breakdowns on product lines. The SME will support the manufacturing engineering group by helping in times of need.

What You’ll Work On

• Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the quality system. 
• Review line performance on a daily basis and identifying improvements based on trends by working hand in hand with the Maintenance and Operations teams. 
• Draft necessary documentation for implementing a change and working the Validation and Quality Engineering to implement the change. 
• Ensure the area of responsibility and all of plant is compliant from a Safety and Quality standpoint. 

• Training of electrical, mechanical and instrument technicians. 

You’ll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors of Engineering or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in a regulated food manufacturing environment.
