Position Specific Description

This internship opportunity is with our Cyber Intelligence and Government Affairs office, supporting cybersecurity operations through detailed research on cyber-related threats and policies. We are seeking an intern to delve into cyber threat actor activity, vulnerability/malware/exploit research, and geopolitical and strategic research, including region/country-specific (foreign language) insights. Additionally, the intern will track U.S. and Canadian regulations and government orders affecting the energy sector and cybersecurity operations, leveraging AI to summarize these actions for key leadership awareness. This role has a direct impact on our cybersecurity operations and strategic planning.

  • Strong ability to conduct thorough research using various tools and sources
  • Inquisitive mindset, capable of asking questions that drive in-depth research
  • General technical understanding of basic networking

 

Job Overview

To be considered for an internship, you must be actively enrolled at a college or university as a full-time student seeking a bachelor’s degree or higher. You must also have a current cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher (on a 0.00 to 4.00 scale).

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assists department with assigned projects
  • Completes challenging projects and assignments
  • Presents final project to senior leadership at the end of the internship
  • Assumes responsibility for own travel, lodging, and transportation necessary to be available for the program
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • High school grad / GED
  • Maintain active enrollment in a Bachelor or higher degree program
  • Maintain cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
