Job Description

  • Establish network specifications by conferring with users; analyze workflow, access, information, and security requirements. Design routers/firewalls administration for multiple locations via firewalls and switches, including interface configuration and routing protocols.
     
  • Maintain virtualized VMWare vSAN environment, SQL Database administration, Cloud based VoIP and VEEAM Backup infrastructure.
     
  • Manage users accounts with Active Directory and create GPO policies for entire organization.
     
  • Upgrade network by conferring with vendors; developing, testing, evaluating, and installing enhancements; installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and  software and related IT infrastructure.
     
  • Proactive assessment and evaluation of current infrastructure to discover opportunities for enhancement.
     
  • Oversee technical assistance and support for incoming help desk tickets related to computer systems, hardware, and software.
     
  • Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues. Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention.
     
  • Perform a daily infrastructure backup log and document the process results based on the IT audit guidelines.
     
  • Serve as project leader on key IT projects for internal initiatives and external customer deliverables.
     
  • Manage IT equipment including all computers, switches, access points, printers, phones, mobile phones and etc.. Produce and maintain documentation containing software installation guide, printer setups, new user setups, and other critical day-to• day procedures.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree required, focus on Information Systems or Computer Science required a plus.
     
  • At least 4+ years of experience working with the VMWare environment and Microsoft Family of networking and server products along.
     
  • At least 4+ years of experience working with networking technologies such as firewalls, switches, VoIP, Wi-Fi access points.
     
  • 4+ years of Active Directory and GPO experience (Required)
     
  • 4+ years of Windows Servers Administration (Required)
     
  • Previous experience with SQL Database administration (Required)
     
  • Knowledge of PowerBI and/or other reporting automation tools is preferred.
     
  • Previous experience with Microsoft Azure Administration and Networking is a plus.
  • Off hours' work may be required in some instances.
     
  • 10% domestic travel.
