Visiting Assistant Professor of Premodern Art History (One Year Term)

Description

The Department of History of Art and Architecture invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor of Premodern Art History to teach for one academic year beginning in the fall semester of 2025. The successful candidate will participate in the instruction of our introductory course and offer lectures and seminars in their areas of expertise. Applicants with specialties in premodern architectural history, Asia, and/or the Global South are encouraged to apply. The successful applicant will also advise senior theses. A Ph.D. or ABD in Art or Architectural History and college-level teaching experience are required.
