Job Description
The Training and Development Supervisor will oversee the training and development initiatives and systems in support of the business's goals and objectives. This role is responsible for supporting our Learning Management System (LMS) and related tools, and for developing, maintaining, and improving our standardized employee training & development offerings.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and respond to requests for training interventions
- Guide and develop team members
- Manage relationships with Corporate L&D staff
- Administer spending against the departmental budget
- Learning tools research, selection, integration, and support
- Support local leadership in getting the most from the LMS and content offerings to meet their needs
- Partner with business owners for the development, discovery, and curation of content
- Plan, implement, and evaluate learning interventions to achieve business objectives
- Guide team in identifying engaging and challenging courseware and training materials for a variety of mediums, including classroom facilitation and online delivery, in a timely manner
- Develop and apply standard, research-backed evaluation methodologies for measuring training effectiveness and analyzing evaluation data.
- Create reports to present findings to local management and HR partners.
- Adjust training programs to maximize effectiveness and execute those changes
- Drive documentation and analysis process for skills development expectations in support of performance and training needs
- Demonstrates knowledge of principles and practices of adult learning theories, training and development, and training design and their successful application within the workplace environment.
- Develops, manages, and delivers training.
- Drive learning culture
- Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field required
- 5+ years of work experience focused on training, learning, and development
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills
- High attention to detail
- Excellent analytical and data skills
- Proficient with Google Workspace collaboration tools
- Understanding of Adult Learning Theory
- Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods
- Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives
- Ability to design and implement effective training and development solutions
Additional Information
The national pay range for this role is $80,800 - $118,500/ year. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location of the hired employee. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
