Every line of code you ship helps people feel seen, valued, and connected at work.</p><p><br/>As a Senior Engineer, you’ll partner with Product, Principal Engineers, and Architects to deliver innovative solutions. <b>While much of your work will focus on backend development in Java, you’ll also have opportunities to contribute to frontend projects in React. This is hands-on, grown-up engineering with the space to influence strategy and drive innovation.</b><br/><br/><b><b>Tech Stack</b></b><br/>Java 17/21, Spring (Boot, Web, Data/JDBC, Security), RESTful APIs, Apache Camel, Kafka, AWS (Lambda, ECS, ECR, CloudWatch, CloudFront, Terraform, OpenSearch), Oracle, Postgres, PL/SQL, React, TypeScript, CSS, JMeter, Jenkins, Sonar, Maven, Git, <span>Docker/Containerization.</span><br/><br/><b><b>What You’ll Do</b></b></p><p></p><ul><li><p>Lead design and engineering activities for your squad, contributing to both strategy and delivery.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with Product, UX, QA, and Architecture teams to shape requirements and technical direction.</p></li><li><p>Drive the design and implementation of scalable, high-quality, performant features.</p></li><li><p>Contribute to agile ceremonies; sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups, retrospectives.</p></li><li><p>Decompose complex features into smaller deliverables to improve efficiency.</p></li><li><p>Conduct code reviews, share best practices, and enhance developer experience.</p></li><li><p>Mentor engineers, fostering growth, knowledge-sharing, and technical excellence.</p></li><li><p>Influence architectural vision within the squad and across the wider engineering organisation.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><br/><b><b>The Skills You Bring</b></b></p><p></p><ul><li><p>5+ years’ experience as a software engineer in enterprise environments.</p></li><li><p>Expertise with Java 17/21, Spring Boot, Spring Security, REST APIs, and microservices.</p></li><li><p>Experience with React, TypeScript, and CSS for full-stack delivery.</p></li><li><p>Strong knowledge of AWS services including Lambda, ECS, ECR, CloudWatch, CloudFront, as well as Terraform, Docker, and containerized environments.</p></li><li><p>Solid background with relational databases (Oracle, Postgres, Aurora, PL/SQL).</p></li><li><p>Experience with Kafka, Apache Camel, and event-driven systems.</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with integration testing, and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, Maven, Sonar).</p></li><li><p>A proven ability to mentor, influence design discussions, and represent the team in cross-functional forums.</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication skills to bridge technical and non-technical conversations.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><br/><b><b>Achievements &amp; Impact</b></b></p><p></p><ul><li><p>Take ownership of features end-to-end, from design through delivery.</p></li><li><p>Mentor and support peers, while continuing to grow independently.</p></li><li><p>Represent the squad in design discussions with senior stakeholders.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate openly across teams and locations, contributing to a culture of trust, respect, and innovation.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><br/><b><b>What We Offer</b></b></p><p></p><ul><li><p><b><b>Growth</b></b>: Opportunities to influence technical strategy, cross-department initiatives, and architectural vision.</p></li><li><p><b><b>Culture</b></b>: A collaborative environment built on trust, psychological safety, and open feedback.
