About the role
This is a remote position.
In need of a skilled Accountant to update and maintain my company's financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, expenses and payments. This position will include working closely with the CEO daily to create and analyze financial reports and ensure legal requirements and compliance are met, process accounts payable and receivable and manage invoices and tax payments and filings. The right candidate should be versed in GA Tax Law and be able to help the business make critical financial decisions by collecting, tracking, and correcting the company's finances. They would be responsible for financial audits, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring financial records are accurate throughout the yearMust have accounting background, must have QuickBooks experience and Zoho Books is a MUST. Daily tasks include data entry as we are in the process of migrating data from QuickBooks and our Company Bank Accounts into Zoho Books, getting all records up to date, prepare reports, auditing each department expenses and sales, job costing tickets, updating all banking transactions and categorizing them daily in order to generate accurate P&L statements.
Other Administrative tasks can be added to daily duties.
Requirements
Skills-RequirementsZoho experience, particularly in Zoho Books is a must, professional demeanor, attention to detail, timeliness, strong organizational skills, QuickBooks and Accounting experience is a must along with tax preparation and filing and understanding how to generate all financial reports. The right candidate should be able to multitask and prioritize the task at hand.
We are looking to start by getting the accounting caught up and the data migrated, categorized appropriately and current, once these tasks are met and if my expectations are met then I am willing to look at a longer term more permanent position to offer.
