Job Description Summary:

We’re seeking a seasoned Senior Brand Director, Red Tree Beverages to join our team at The Coca-Cola Company. The Senior Brand Director will be responsible for all marketing and general management activities to build respective brands. Candidate should have a blend of experiences and skills across Marketing, Commercialization, Financial Management and Operations and should thrive on teamwork and know how to champion a brand and motivate both internal and external partners. Focus, Scope, & Impact:   

  • Leads development of annual and multi-year brand growth strategies and business plans for a brand (or portfolio of brands) in order to deliver against overall brand vision and business objectives in Red Tree Beverages

  • Partners with internal (e.g. R&D, Supply Chain, Commercial, Finance) and external (e.g. external alcohol companies, suppliers, agencies) stakeholders to develop new and/or improved products, packaging and programs to meet consumer needs, deliver against brand strategies and drive System value/business objectives  

  • Drives commercialization of brand positioning, innovation, consumer communications/messaging and shopper marketing to deliver brand objectives via clear direction/guidance and effective resource allocation decisions 

  • Provides team members with leadership, clear direction/prioritization, and coaching to achieve business objectives, improve performance and skills, and develop career paths; grows better business people 

  • Role must be able to create and implement solutions that create new business models for routes to market, consumer access to our brands 

KEY SUCCESS PARAMETERS   

Experience    

  • 10 or more years of experience in brand management and/or general management in-packaged goods, beverage alcohol category experience preferred.  

  • Bachelor’s degree required;  MBA preferred.   

Work Focus   

  • Ability to develop and articulate multi-year strategic plan and annual business plan for the brand/brands within his/her portfolio within the NAOU.  Develops a holistic picture of what is required to deliver these plans including alignment with senior leadership on the new business model, internal stakeholders and external partners to create new revenue stream streams.   

Communication Focus    

  • Role is a high influencing/GM style role and she/he should have franchise leadership and/or customer orientation as often these businesses will be implemented through external partners that have competing brands, categories and priorities  

  • Interactions include development of external partnerships and the mutually beneficial business model,  developing new propositions moving quickly from conceptual sell to in market retail selling. 

  • Role interacts frequently (daily) with constituents (internal and external) that may not have completely aligned interests/ objectives.  Is a senior level communicator and negotiator   

 MASTERY OF (REQUIRED)  

1. Develop and communication of business model Inclusive Of “WHAT IT TAKES” to achieve   

2. Ability to develop business models and gain dynamically plan resources requirements  

3. Strong franchise/Distributor selling skills including ability to build partnerships, establish trust & credibility and influence across all levels of leadership

4. Financial acumen – general management orientation 

5.  Ability to work entrepreneurially to develop transformation Businesses (Businesses that operate differently than our core)

 

BROAD EXPERTISE IN (GOOD TO HAVE)   

1. Operations experience with innovation, commercialization, distributor management  

2. Ambitious proven experience taking ideas and building successful business from them  

3.  Works well in agile project style environment

Pay Range:

$197,000 - $238,400

Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
