Staff Software R&D Engineer (Simulation Tools) 

Description 

Are you are passionate about high performance simulation solutions that enable our automotive and telecommunications customers to develop the embedded software for their next generation of self-driving cars, mobile devices, or virtual reality applications? Do you like to create robust, creative, and flexible software architectures? Is developing high quality/performance software architectures and using modern design principles something that motivates you? 

As a Staff Engineer for our fast-growing team, you will be responsible for driving the design of our co-simulation technologies used for integrating into the software development ecosystem in a highly competitive market. You will play a pivotal role in a cross-functional team dedicated to the implementation of new simulation solutions. 

This is a hybrid role with at least 3 days on-site in Aachen per week. 

 
In your new role you will: 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new product designs and validate their performance
• Drive the development and deployment of co-simulation solutions for virtual systems-on-chip
• Conduct code reviews, debugging, and testing to ensure the delivery of high-quality code

 
What You’ll Need: 

• MS or PhD degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or similar
• C/C++ software development - extensive knowledge and hands-on experience
