with experience of handling the revenue recognition function within a Media and Marketing business or another project consulting agency.

Requirements

What You’ll Do:

• Manage the AR Inbox, ensuring queries are dealt with in a timely manner
• Work with PM & Media teams to ensure accurate and timely billing to clients

• Manage the collections process and reporting to Client Finance Lead on weekly basis
• Review timesheet submission and produce reports to HOD on missing timesheets
• Assist Client Finance lead to produce utilization and burn reports for review
• Assist the PM and Media functions with training on maintenance of the ERP system
• Assist with client portfolio for revenue forecasting and revenue recognition

• Assist with job financials, from job set up right through to job close financial reconciliation and approval
• Work with global regions on intercompany reconciliations and revenue/cost of sale recognition
• Liaise with external vendors to ensure billing on a timely basis, and assist AP team with reconciliations.
• Assist with accrued revenue on all clients to ensure billings in line with SOW/MSA
• Assist in month-end reconciliations, detailed review, reporting, and analysis

• Perform ad hoc reports, analysis, and special projects

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• Self starter, work well under tight deadlines, sense of urgency and ownership of tasks required

• Exceptional skills with spreadsheets and reporting tools
• Professional verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to dig into the details to truly understand the numbers and how they all fit together to catch red flags and/or outlying issues earlier
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly growing company while also working remotely
• The candidate will thrive in a culture of accountability and transparency and be highly responsive to the needs of the continually evolving organization

• Candidates should be motivated, eager to learn, able to work independently and in group/team settings, serious when they need to be, but also like to have fun

Salary range for New York candidates: $55,000 - 650,000 DOE & professional certifications.

Our compensation philosophy is to pay within the 50th percentile of current market salary data.
