Senior Financial Analyst, NACI OCI

Location, US Nationwide, Remote

As a member of the Global Business Finance team, the Senior Financial Analyst – NACI OCI will provide business analysis and support to the sales and finance leadership team. 

We are seeking a highly motivated, analytically minded individual to help the organization make smart business decisions. Responsibilities may include supporting divisional / functional organization with forecasting, budgeting, strategic thinking, and ad-hoc analysis.

Main Responsibilities

  • Strategic business partner to OCI sales and extended teams including operations, compensation, and other global business finance groups.
  • Decision-making support and guidance on key deliverables.
  • Take lead role on all aspects of forecasting, compensation, and key projects that drive the business forward.
  • Be a strong voice on key go to market decisions and financial impacts.
  • Proactively analyze key trends and drivers seen in the results through partnership with sales and operations peers.
  • Participate in annual planning and budgeting cycle in line with corporate and business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive management reporting and analytical insight.
  • Preparation of reporting packs for executive management, ensuring data quality and accuracy of management reporting
  • Participate in quarter end activities and close process.
  • Prepare and participate in quarterly business reviews.
  • Run ad hoc scenario analysis to assess potential impacts, identifying key drivers and risks/opportunities.
  • Link business strategy to financial reporting at various levels using KPIs and goal setting.
  • Participate in various global business finance change initiatives to drive improvements in efficiency effectiveness of financial reporting and business partnership.

Preferred Skills & Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree along with 5+ years of corporate finance experience; MBA and sales business partnering experience preferred.
  • Strong partnering capabilities and ability to influence others without direct authority.
  • Comfortable with interacting, influencing, and guiding an executive leadership team.
  • Previous experience supporting a cloud business unit preferred.
  • Self-directed and proactive with ability to multi-task and take ownership of work.
  • Excellent financial, analytical, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent communicator that can work across disciplines (engineering, finance, compensation, operations, etc.) at various levels of the organization.
  • Result oriented with the ability to translate ideas into operational plans and follow through to closure.
  • Experience in developing a culture of using data insights to help drive decision-making.
  • Takes initiative to achieve value added results while tracking the progress of multiple work streams and tasks optimally under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and uncertainty in a business that evolves at a hyper pace.
  • Upbeat and positive demeanor in the face of stress.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $87,000 to $178,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
