Your Responsibilities

 

As a Staff Software Engineer for Intelligent Solutions Group located in Urbandale, IA, or Chicago, IL, you will...

 

• Participate in functional requirement analysis and design to drive improvements to activation and tool solutions. 
• Operate in a scrum team environment on varying projects with direction from a project lead.
• Analyze high complexity requests to help in formulating plans for execution with minimal supervision.

What Skills You Need

 

• 8 or more years of software engineering experience
• Strong leadership skills and takes initiative to proactively solve issues. 
• Experience in Digital Software Development: 
• 3 or more years of experience in Node.js, JavaScript and UI frameworks experience. 
• 3 or more years of experience in developing cloud native serverless technologies in AWS using API Gateway, Lambda, S3, Cloudfront, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB, IAM, Cloudwatch, Route53
• Deep experience in Infrastructure As Code using Terraform/AWS Cloudformation
• Demonstrated capability performing in an engineering team environment and interfacing with engineers and personnel of other disciplines. 
• Strong knowledge of TDD, Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery, and Agile methodologies 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Experience that demonstrates you are a self-starter, and able to work well without close direction. 

What Makes You Stand Out

 

• AWS Certification or 3 years of equivalent AWS experience 
• Experience in Embedded Software Development: 
• Experience working with resources from multiple functional areas. 
• Advanced degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science. 

Education

 

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

 

• Bachelors degree in an Engineering, Science or Technology related discipline
