About the role

The position evaluates patients of all ages regarding the application of a wide variety of therapeutic techniques for rehabilitation of speech, language, swallowing, and oral-motor disorders.  Demonstrates proficiency in delivering care to assigned age-specific patient population (e.g. infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics).

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree: Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Upon hire: California Speech Language Pathologist License 
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • Within 30 days of hire: California Fire and Life Safety Card - National Organization
  • One year: Providing Speech and Language Services.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Clinical hospital experience.
  • One year: For NICU: Clinical experience in any setting providing speech language pathology to infants, children or adolescents or experience in an acute care hospital providing speech language pathology directly to infants, children or adolescents who have a CCS eligible medical condition.  CCS paneled.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
