Job Summary:

The Senior Manager of Whitetail Resort - Skier Services is the brand ambassador to carry forth Whitetail’s legacy, leadership and limitless possibilities. The role is responsible to drive innovation and quality of the guest and team member experience for Ski and Snowboard School, Rentals, Retail, Tubing and Summer Golf Operations. Specific areas include but are not limited to: goal setting, training and evaluation to ensure exceptional guest service and safety; drive revenue by looking at ways to grow the business, manage expense oversight and forecasting; capital project coordination; articulate and consistent communication and interaction with guests and community members. As a member of the senior leadership team the position leads strategic direction of Whitetail’s goals and initiatives to drive the business, guest experience and employee experience.

 

Job Specifications:  

• Starting Wage: $68,545 - $90,333 + annual bonus

Job Responsibilities:

• Strategically direct and monitor quality of overall Ski and Snowboard School, Golf, Retail, Rental and Tubing products and staff to ensure exceptional experience for guests and safety, aligned with Resort and Company goals, financial success, and development of future products/programs.
• Leading financial management of all operations, including assisting on budget development, obtaining financial contribution goals, through internal controls and results from our product development.
• Personnel management including hiring and professional growth of all staff, supervision, operational and strategic planning for the school along with the General Manager.
• Work with the General Manager to support and achieve quality, financial, and safety targets.
• Managers and Supervisors to ensure accountability for the quality of products, services and safety for guests. Provide feedback, growth opportunities, leadership opportunities and appropriate training to develop of leaders.
• Drive a strong culture of safety within the Skier Services team and the entire resort.
• Create and implement an operations plan to manage the business to pre-determined margins. The operations plan includes consideration of revenue opportunities, labor ratios management, expense control, and the quality of guest experience.
