Join us in Test Engineering as a Summer (June start) and Fall (early or mid-December end) Co-op student, within our Avionics team which offers an array of innovative test equipment solutions for Collins Aerospace products and programs. You would need to take the fall 2026 semester off. We serve internal customers, including our manufacturing and service centers, as well as external customers – domestic and international.
The primary responsibility for this position is to assist Project Engineers in developing and maintaining test solutions. The student who fills this position must have strong project management, process compliance and problem-solving skills. This position will heavily utilize software development and process improvement skills. This role is onsite, in Melbourne, FL. This role may be eligible for relocation.
What You Will Do:
- You will contribute to the success of a cross-functional team.
- You will assist Project Engineers in managing the projects.
- You will develop software and tools to improve process efficiency.
- You will lead and manage project related tasks.
- You will prepare and present project / technical information to peers, internal management and customers.
- You will plan and manage tasks effectively.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.

Qualifications We Prefer:
- Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer/Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
- Software skills in C++ and C# are a plus.
- Knowledge and experience in AI / Data Analytics is a plus.
