Position Overview:

As part of the talented Operations team, you will focus on overseeing the stainless steel propellor investment casting manufacturing process and the efficient utilization of the workforce, equipment, and processes to obtain maximum efficiency.

Essential Functions:

  • Supervise the activities of the employees to ensure for an efficient and safe work force.
  • Review daily production requirements to meet daily production needs.
  • Monitor quality of product to assure compliance with specifications.
  • Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of product.
  • Leverage data analytics to make strategic and tactical business decisions.
  • Execute continuous improvement projects and action items.
  • Collaborate with coworkers to develop solutions to solve problems.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate degree
  • Minimum of 3 -5 years of prior supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong employee relations management experience
  • Ability to coach, direct and develop employees
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to work closely with operators
  • Ability to be innovative
  • Eagerness to learn and grow your career
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to work closely with operators

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree
  • Experience working in a technical process
  • Supervisory experience in a foundry
  • Knowledge in Kronos
  • Lean / Continuous Improvement experience

Working Conditions:

  • Stainless steel investment casting facility
  • The ability to work in an unsupervised environment
  • May need to move around to different locations throughout the day
  • This position works onsite, Sunday through Thursday from 10:30PM - 7:00AM.
    • Hours are subject to change at times based on business needs
