What we’re looking for

Part of Vacasa strategy includes actively acquiring homes through organic and acquisitive growth; as a result, we need to ensure the function of compliance is fully supported within the business. The Compliance Lead is a clear communicator with excellent organizational and prioritization skills. He/She will be responsible for auditing and actively managing the regulatory needs of his/her assigned region, as well as managing a small team of three or less people. This role reports to the Compliance Manager.

What You’ll Do

• Manage a small team of compliance coordinators with weekly check-ins.
• Research, create and maintain comprehensive regulation documentation.
• Assess regulation needs to increase service quality and/or efficiency.
• Analyze and report on current regulations and ordinances.
• Frequently track and audit assigned regions. 
• Locate missing permit information.
• De-escalate major issues.
• Support the larger Compliance team during peak seasons and large projects.
• Additional duties as assigned, including applying for licenses.
• Other duties, as assigned.

What You’ll Need

• Previous experience in compliance or acquisitions, minimum one year.
• Strong written communication skills and ability to collaborate with multiple departments and stakeholders.
• Ability to adapt quickly to change and deliver results in highly ambiguous environments.
• Excellent organizational, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to properly assess problems and provide solutions.
• Tech-savvy - including Google applications.
• Ability to pull and maintain spreadsheet reports.
• Experience with managing other people, minimum one year.
• Any experience with planning or zoning is a plus.
• Attention to detail.

Compensation

• $25 - $30 / hour
