Staff Software Engineer - CICD

Joining Collibra’s Software Engineering - Platform Engineering team (CICD):

The Platform Engineering (CICD) Engineering team is responsible for enabling product teams with Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery. As a CICD Engineer, you will help to deliver the tools and the platform, and enable partner teams (Engineering, Product, Security, Compliance, etc.) by providing documentation, guidance, training, support, tooling, and self-service options. In a broader sense, you will help to define and maintain the engineering ecosystem.

Staff Software Engineers at Collibra are responsible for:

• Developing, building, and maintaining the CICD principles, tools, and platform.
• Delivering and Integrating new technologies into new and existing Infrastructure through automation and IaC.
• Coordinating with architecture, security and engineering teams to deliver pipeline as a platform.

You have:

• 8+ years of experience as an engineer delivering IaC solutions.
• Extensive working experience in GCP or AWS.
• Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience building scalable build and delivery pipelines for containerized applications running in Kubernetes.
• Must have experience using Kubernetes to design, build, and deploy applications & workloads.
• Strong analytical and Agile mindset familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• B.Sc./ M.Sc. graduate in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.

• An independent and well organized, with the ability to work in small and large teams.
• Detail oriented, able to track multiple dependencies within complex systems. 
• An excellent communicator (written and verbal). Comfortable working fully in English - we're a global team, and it's the language we share! 

Measures of success:

• Within your first month, you will absorb fundamental knowledge about Collibra processes/tools used within our current CICD ecosystem.
• Within your third month, you will be a contributing member of the Platform Engineering team.
• Within your sixth month, you will have a full understanding of all the build and delivery solutions and have the ability to optimize current and build new pipelines.

Compensation for this role

The standard base salary range for this position is $152,600 - $228,000 per year. This position is not eligible for additional commission-based compensation. Salary offers are based on a combination of factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skills, and location.

In addition to base salary, we offer equity ownership at every level, bonus potential, a Flex Fund monthly stipend, pension/401k plans, and more.
