Administrative Assistant _ Cargo Warehouse

The job is at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)

Pay: $25.00/hour

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Reconsolidate daily deposit reports.
• Make collection calls daily.
• Handle accounts receivable and collection customers issues.
• Process credit invoices.
• Answer incoming customer service calls.
• Make a daily deposit to the bank.
• Scan the deposit slips to Dallas on a daily basis.
• Generate daily invoices.
• Upload HERMES into SUN
• Forward daily/weekly/monthly progress reports to Management
• Forward final reports to finance department and other relevant Management
• Report any irregularities to Management.
• Assist with any duties as and when required by Management.
• Check e-mails and respond if required.
• Investigate customer’s complaints involving overcharges, shortages and makes necessary adjustment in the invoices.
• Other duties as required.

 Required skills: 

• Must be able to communicate well in English language.
• Computer literate
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Be able to read write and understand instructions.
• Able to work under pressure.
• Able to work with little supervision.
• Able to deal with and solve problems.
• Good working knowledge of the Menzies HERMES system
• PC literate
• Knowledge of the Cleaning operation and all its functions
• Excellent problem-solving skills ensuring that SUN is completed correctly and on time every month.
• Good communication skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and still meet deadlines.
• Must be able to pass a ten-year background check as required by US Customs.
• Must pass a drug test.
• Must pass pre-employment medical.
• Must pass driver’s test with the Department of Airports and obtain a driver’s license to drive on Airport Operational Area (AOA).
• Must be able to lift at least 35 pounds on a continuous basis.
