World Learning seeks a Senior Salesforce Business Analyst and System Administrator to lead the development and maintenance of three Salesforce orgs within its academic exchange program unit for the Fulbright Specialist Program, the Global Undergraduate Exchange Program (Global UGRAD), and the anticipated Fulbright Foreign Student Program for the Western Hemisphere. These three programs, sponsored by the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA), promote mutual understanding between Americans and individuals in over 150 countries globally and create lasting connections in a complex and changing world. The Senior Salesforce Business Analyst and System Administrator will be responsible for overall design and maintenance of each org including documenting business requirements, conceptualizing efficient workflows that leverage Salesforce functionality, troubleshooting user concerns, and executing enhancements to the orgs requested by key stakeholder groups. This individual will also develop and deliver routine end user trainings. Recruitment for this position is contingent upon successful award of the Fulbright Foreign Student Program for the Western Hemisphere.

ABOUT GLOBAL PROGRAMS

This position will be a part of the Global Programs unit of World Learning which designs, implements, monitors, and evaluates global development and exchange programs. We work with various donors, including DOS and the U.S. Agency for International Development, to achieve immediate impact and sustainable outcomes. Responsibilities

• Serve as primary system administrator for the two existing Salesforce orgs (Fulbright Specialist Program and Global UGRAD) and the anticipated third org for the Fulbright Foreign Student Program for the Western Hemisphere. Carry out basic functions including user maintenance, modification of page layouts, generation of reports and dashboards, creation of new fields, and other routine tasks. Troubleshoot user-reported concerns.
• Lead the design of the new Salesforce org for the anticipated Fulbright Foreign Student Program for the Western Hemisphere. This includes developing an initial needs assessment and stakeholder analysis to capture key business needs that can be addressed via Salesforce for all key stakeholder groups including ECA, U.S. Embassies and Fulbright Commissions, applicants, and World Learning program staff.
• Serve as the primary product owner and provide direct oversight of an external Salesforce development firm that will execute the build of the new org for the Fulbright Foreign Student Program for the Western Hemisphere. This includes approving all user stories, conducting all user acceptance training, and ensuring adequate documentation of Salesforce solution.
• Develop and routinely update user-friendly training materials and guides and conduct live, tailored trainings for all user groups for each org on an annual and ad hoc basis.
• Identify, install, and maintain appropriate apps from the Salesforce AppExchange for document generation, e-sign, and more.
• Continually reflect and plan to future-proof the Salesforce orgs by monitoring system upgrades and seasonal releases.
• Develop feedback loops from all user groups, conduct regular gap analysis, and maintain backlog of requested enhancements for each org. Execute enhancements directly in Salesforce, as feasible. Serve as primary product owner for any follow-on engagements with external Salesforce development firms.

Requirements

Required Experience/Education:

• A bachelor's degree is required.
• At least seven years of relevant work experience is required.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the location where this position is offered.

Required Skills:

• Excellent knowledge of and demonstrated experience with Sales Cloud.
• Experience with the development and operations of a state-of-the-art online portal for program applications and management.
