Anderson Pediatric Therapy Services offers a comprehensive pediatric occupational therapy program specifically designed for children.  Our pediatric occupational therapist services assist children with their overall growth and development. The goal of these services is to improve a child's ability to perform daily tasks. The team of occupational therapists works closely with children and their parents or caregivers to develop the skills and abilities required to complete these activities independently. They use a variety of techniques and tools to enhance a child's motor skills, coordination, and cognitive abilities:

• Upper extremity strengthening
• Fine motor and hand development
• Feeding
• Activities directed toward the child’s age-appropriate developmental milestones
• Sensory integrative therapy
• Activities of daily living, including bathing and dressing
• Play therapy
• Behavior management skills
• Executive functioning skills

This position is also responsible assisting with inpatient needs for the adult/geriatric population as needed.  

Education Requirements and Other Requirements:
Education Level: Graduate of an Occupational Therapy curriculum approved by the American Occupational Therapy Association

Certification/Licensure: Licensed in the State of Illinois or eligible
