Clinical Nurse Manager - RN – 5W - Med Surg/Tele - Full Time - Days

Bring your passion for team-building to our one of our Medical/Surgical units, offering comprehensive care with a human touch. 5W is a 40 bedded unit comprised of Medical and Surgery patients along with telemetry monitoring. Clinical Nurse Managers coordinate all aspects of clinical care to ensure the delivery of high-quality, family-centered services to our patients. Assist with unit administration, including the management of staffing needs. Counsel staff RN's on a regular basis, providing clinical education and conducting follow-up procedures as necessary. Foster collaboration and independent thinking. Lead and round with the staff.  Mentor, coach, and implement performance and quality improvement.

This is a Full Time Day Flex (12PM-10PM) position at NewYork-Presbyterian Queens located at 56-45 Main St, Queens, NY 11355.

Preferred Criteria

• Master's degree

Required Criteria

• Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN)

• Current New York State registration to practice nursing

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience 

• Demonstrated leadership competencies

• Previous clinical expertise within Med Surg

Salary Range:

$130,000-$155,000/Annual
