In this role, you will partner with business, operations, engineering, architecture, and technology teams to define requirements, improve distribution center workflows, and support automation solutions from discovery through testing and deployment.

You will play a key role in translating operational needs into clear system requirements, understanding how automation and integration architecture support end-to-end DC flow, and ensuring solutions are tested, documented, and ready for implementation. This role is ideal for a business systems analyst with experience in supply chain, warehouse technology, distribution center automation, systems integration, and cross-functional delivery.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with distribution center operations and technology stakeholders to understand business processes, DC flow, and automation needs.
  • Translate business priorities into clear functional, technical, and integration requirements.
  • Document current-state and future-state workflows for automation-enabled distribution center processes.
  • Collaborate with architecture, engineering, security, and product teams to align solutions with enterprise standards.
  • Support system and integration design discussions for automation platforms, warehouse systems, and related technologies.
  • Own and coordinate end-to-end testing activities, including test planning, test scenarios, user acceptance testing, and defect tracking.
  • Assess deployment impacts, identify risks, and partner with stakeholders to minimize disruption to operations.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, scalability, and user adoption.

Basic Requirements

  • 7+ years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Supply Chain Systems Analyst, Warehouse Systems Analyst, or similar role.
  • Experience supporting technology solutions in distribution center, warehouse, logistics, supply chain, or fulfillment environments.
  • Experience gathering, documenting, and managing business, functional, and technical requirements.
  • Experience with system integration concepts, process flows, data flows, and end-to-end solution testing.
  • Experience creating test plans, test scenarios, UAT documentation, and defect documentation.
  • Strong communication skills with experience working across operations, business, and technical teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Experience with distribution center automation, warehouse automation, robotics, conveyor systems, sortation, WMS, WES, WCS, or related platforms.
  • Understanding of automation architecture, integration patterns, APIs, middleware, and enterprise system connectivity.
  • Experience working in Agile, product delivery, or large-scale technology implementation environments.
  • Experience supporting regulated, secure, or enterprise-scale technology solutions.
  • Ability to facilitate workshops, resolve ambiguity, and align stakeholders on business and technical outcomes.
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Visio, Lucidchart, Confluence, or similar documentation and delivery platforms.

Travel, Work Environment and Physical Requirements

  • Work model may be remote, hybrid, or on-site based on business and team needs.
  • Travel to distribution centers or business locations may be required to support discovery, testing, implementation, or stakeholder engagement.
  • Role may require time in a distribution center environment and the ability to work at a computer for extended periods.

Candidate must be authorized to work in the U.S, now or in the future, without the support from McKesson.
