At Semikron-Danfoss we manufacture best in class power modules for customers in automotive, energy and industrial sectors. For our Automotive Division, we are looking for a Head of Production (m/f/d) in our Nuremberg plant.
Job Responsibilities
In this role, you will be leading the factory ensuring best-in-class operations required for in an automotive environment. Additionally, you will be ramping up our manufacturing set up to meet the fast-increasing market demand while developing a best-in-class team.
Essential tasks will be:
- Leading the daily production and delivering exceptional results
- Driving operational excellence based on your experience of utilizing the latest manufacturing technologies and lean tools
- Acting as change agent with strong credibility and influence in the organization.
- Work effectively with cross-functional teams and promote an environment of cooperation.
- Presenting passion for growing safety and quality awareness in the organization, striving for best-in-class SHEQ culture

You have successfully completed a Master’s degree in a technical field or comparable and bring along a strong Automotive background.
In addition we would like to see:
- Experienced in managing plant level P&L
- Several years leading production teams in a cross functional environment, Track record in coaching and talent development
- Change management background, leading transformation processes and manage resistance in a matrixed environment.
- Experience in APQP and PPAP.
- Business English skills, German skills are a plus
