About the Role

The Senior Engineer will be instrumental in driving the technical vision and implementation of Tellow's core products, which include our accounting software & banking services. Reporting to and closely collaborating with the Engineering Manager, you'll play a critical role in shaping the architecture, design, and delivery of our systems. Your technical skills will contribute significantly to empowering freelancers with financial tools built just for them.

What will you do?

* Contribute high-quality code to product development and lead architectural discussions

* Partner with product manager and designer to create a seamless and impactful user experience

* Participate in code reviews, emphasizing best practices and high-performance solutions

* Design and develop our multi-service architecture.

* Research and introduce new technologies and frameworks to advance our products

* Mentor junior engineers, helping them elevate their skills and career paths

* Be an active participant in sprint planning, technical discussions, and post-mortem reviews

Who are you?

* 7+ years of experience in software development

* Deep technical skills in TypeScript, Node.js, React, AWS/GCP, PHP, and other relevant technologies

* Familiarity with agile practices

* Excellent problem-solving skills and architectural acumen

* Advanced proficiency in English; Dutch would be a delightful addition
