Compliance Specialist Senior | Hybrid

What you do:

 

Knowledgeable in specific aspects of assigned area of compliance and developing expertise in multiple disciplines. This role ensures compliance with regulatory and legal requirements and related company policies for area assigned. Researches compliance issues and recommends changes that ensure compliance. Monitors and assesses risk, and provides oversight for the assigned area. Demonstrates expertise and operates independently in the assigned area. May be asked to occasionally provide technical direction to others. May be tasked with special assignments/projects that are outside the scope of day-to-day responsibilities.

 

A successful candidate will have background in:

 

• Design, build and manage compliance programs within a discipline - participates on projects and occasionally leads multiple, medium to large size projects; may provide informal work direction to others.
• Assess compliance -related risks, creates and implements controls within a discipline.
• Analyze, design and assess compliance-related metrics/measures.
• Manage relationships with internal customers and stakeholders
• Industry participation: Attend broad industry meetings and develop industry contacts.
• Identifies, researches and resolves complex issues with direction and routine issues independently.

 

What you bring:

 

• 6-7 years of experience required, Compliance related experience across multiple compliance disciplines and/or business lines.
• Four-year degree required      or equivalent work experience
• Licensing/Certification/Other   Some responsibilities may require specific FINRA registrations or specific designations.
