What You’ll Lead:
As the North Regional Program Manager, you’ll be the strategic anchor for V3’s efforts in Northern Virginia, overseeing a talented team that supports:
-Employers & Strategic Partners: Cultivating relationships with V3 Certified Employers to help them attract, hire, and retain top-tier veteran talent.
- Veterans & Military Families: Connecting transitioning service members, veterans, and spouses to career pathways, professional networks, and wraparound services.
- Transition Resource Coordinators: Managing staff who deliver training, planning assistance, and access to self-paced education and career development tools.
Your Impact. You’ll drive initiatives that:
- Reduce veteran unemployment and underemployment
- Promote recognition of military experience in professional licensing
- Expand access to upskilling and career advancement
- Strengthen employer capacity through workforce training and technical assistance
- Represent V3 on regional boards, committees, and stakeholder groups
What You’ll Do:
- Lead regional strategy, operations, and outreach
- Supervise cross-functional teams focused on military transition assistance, employment, workforce development and employer engagement
- Execute high-visibility events and initiatives
- Manage resources, partnerships, reporting and performance metrics
- Serve as the “public face of V3” in Northern Virginia

Minimum Qualifications
• Experience supporting industry-specific needs for various employment sectors.
• Experience with data management and analytics
• Prior experience organizing training and developing educational programs.
• Knowledge of administrative, human resources, procurement, and fiscal/budgetary principles.
• Demonstrated knowledge of supervisory and program management principles and practices.
• Ability to manage multiple programs and/or projects simultaneously.
• Demonstrated knowledge of website and database administration, systems and application development, and statistical analysis.
• Prior experience providing training and instruction to adult learners.
• Experience with identifying and/or providing services/resources to the military population.
• Experience with career readiness and business services to support workforce development and retention.
• Prior experience with regional or multi-office coordination.
• Experience with staff supervision, performance evaluation and coaching.
• Experience with scheduling and daily operations management.
• Prior experience reporting, benchmarking and compliance monitoring.
• Experience with professional relationship management across diverse sectors, constituent and partner engagement.
• Experience with public speaking and presentation skills.
Additional Considerations
Experience in social services, business, public administration, education or combination of education and job experience. research, public policy, public administration, business, or related field or equivalent experience. Additional Considerations: Prior project management or leadership experience. Prior public speaking experience.
