Job Title: Quality Specialist 

Location: Palo Alto, CA 

Work Model: Hybrid Work Model. 

 

Purpose and Objective:   

SAP Labs, LLC seeks a Quality Specialist at our Palo Alto, CA location to work in a cross functional development or test team in quality assurance and test related tasks within the product creation process.  

 

Expectations and Tasks:  

Analyze, define, implement, and execute quality. Test related activities according to a given quality and test strategy for the product area. Create detailed test design including test system landscape requirements and product standards, prepares test, custom and master data.  Author and executes manual and/or automated tests. Analyze test results (issues) and appropriate follow-up actions. Work on quality assurance and test related processes, methods, and tools. Utilize product domain knowledge in business processes, scenarios, and understand customer needs. Adhere to product process standards and legal requirements in quality assurance and test related tools. Program languages and related development tools and process.  

 

Education and Occupational Experience:  

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field of study and five (5) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field of study and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. 

 

Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:  

Experience must involve two (2) years in the following: 

• Software testing, including functional and integration and regression testing; 

• Present technical solutions and status updates to senior management; 

• Test automation with Java, IDE, GIT, Katalon and Jenkins; 

• Java Programming with TestNG and POM; and 

• Domain knowledge of Application Security.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $194,875 - $196,740. SAP believes the value
