Overview of the Role
- The Business Support Manager will support the VP, Directors and Sales Team, West Confections with administrative duties which include but are not limited to, sales presentations, client business reviews, data manipulation and preparation, customer forms, customer system maintenance, and other projects as assigned. This role will be an integral part of managing our business support specialist and supporting our sales team, client relationships and retail partner relationships.

- Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 depending on years of experience and expertise

What You’ll Do at C.A. Carlin
Supporting sales team with tasks as directed including but not limited to:
- Lead the sales support team to achieve organizational goals through mentorship and performance management.
- Supporting VP & Directors of West Confections with Client & team communication.
- Drive team development by identifying training needs and fostering professional growth.
- Sales presentations/ sell sheets
- Customer daily inquiry management
- Program coordinator, develop new processes and procedures
- Sales data reports
- Customer forms – new item forms, promotional forms, price increase forms
- Customer system maintenance
- Projects as necessary based on deadlines from customers
- Create internal marketing materials to support internal team
- Consistent and quality completion of assigned duties
- Additional support as appropriate to assigned sales team/ customer deadlines
What You Should Bring to the Table
- 1-3 years of professional consumer-packaged goods experience
- Understanding of the food and beverage distribution network and retail landscape
- Extremely organized and detail-oriented; enjoys working tasks to completion
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong, effective relationships with clients, customers, & colleagues
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point), and Adobe Acrobat
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher required
