PRODUCTION SUPERINTENDENT

• Guides Production Supervisors on assigning work, staff, shifts, and upcoming lines; provides focused daily direction, problem solving and technical support. 
• Assists Business Unit Manager (Production Mgr.) in planning and scheduling of production cells in operation. 
• Monitors production schedules; prioritizes production activities to maintain quality and efficiency. 
• Attends meetings, assists in training, and maintains a visible presence on the floor.
• Provides leadership to Production Supervisors for assigned continuous improvement projects in efficiency, scrap, speeds, quality, and safety. 
• Interfaces with Production Supervisors and Engineering to analyze operations and new job setup.
• Develops and maintains professional relationships with all team members through policy development, performance evaluations, and training. 
• Directs departmental compliance with customer delivery, and quality requirements.
• Ensures production operations compliance to all FMS and division quality operating system requirements.
• Must actively support our Health, Safety, and Environmental policies, immediately report all dangerous situations and correct them when able to do so safely, participate in all required safety training, meetings, inspections and use all required PPE.
