Job Description

What you will be doing:

• Supervise the day to day engineering & maintenance operation.
• Continuously inspect areas throughout the resort to immediately resolve safety concerns
• Clearly display an understanding of business administration, building material, and general furnishings that reflect a luxury resort
• Maintain compliance of fire, electrical, plumbing codes and health, sanitation, OSHA and ADA requirements
• Assist in training colleagues in of all areas of engineering & maintenance.
• Direct and assist the operation on special projects or daily assignments as needed.

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

• Associates degree in facilities, Architecture, Engineering, Construction or related field, minimum qualification
• Bachelor degree in Facilities, Architecture, Engineering, Construction, or related field, desired qualification
• 1-2 years professional experience in Engineering, Landscaping, Facilities or Construction organization
• Proficient with Technology: computer skills/typing, MS office, procurement systems, payroll, work order management systems
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Must be a good team player with a positive attitude and desire to learn
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on an occasional basis. Requires grasping, writing, standing, crawling, climbing ladders, sitting, standing, walking, repetitive motions, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
• Experience leading teams and contractors
• Good understanding of people, place, process and technology within the built environment
• Must be a problem solver

Additional Information

Hourly Rate: $42.54 USD

Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in the United States. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining U.S. work authorization.
