ABOUT THE TEAM

Anduril’s Mission Autonomy Business Line is focused on positioning Anduril as a lead provider of autonomy capability for multi-domain platforms. We work with customers to understand their requirements, shape their concepts of operation, and ultimately deploy and scale fleets of autonomous, heterogeneous UxVs in support of customer missions.

ABOUT THE JOB

Success in this position requires:

  1. Systems and engineering mindset - Understand and assess technical concepts. Identify system dependencies, interfaces, technical risks and the impact of architectural decisions and trades with the engineering team
  2. Execution focused - Dig into the details, chart the path and own the outcome, delivering consistently and with velocity
  3. Collaborative partnership - manage internal stakeholders across engineering, product, and growth, to shape the future of the autonomy technology programs across Anduril and the US government

WHAT YOU’LL DO 

  • Collaboratively define product vision and long-term strategy in alignment with business line goals
  • Own and manage a product roadmap, balancing short-term delivery with long-term innovation.
  • Build trust with Anduril teammates, vendors, partners, and potential customers through effective cmmunication, positive attitude, and meticulous follow-through. Partner deeply with engineering leaders to drive successful program execution at velocity across groups of engineering teams or across departments

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Physics, Engineering or other applicable discipline
  • Minimum of 10 years experience with technical leadership and project management
  • High ownership and demonstrated ability to drive progress even without formal structure or top-down pressure
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences
  • Solid technical aptitude and an ability to understand technical designs, software development lifecycle, challenges and risks; ability to work closely and effectively with engineering teams
  • Proven track record of shipping successful software products end-to-end
  • Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret SCI security clearance
  • Travel >25% to customer and test sites, some international

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Previous experience leading, managing, and executing urgent, complex technical programs/products, from ideation and early-stage design to technology development, system integration, testing, and deployment
  • A strong familiarity with with unmanned aircraft, autonomous systems, robotics, or related aerospace / defense technologies
  • Significant customer-facing experience leading high profile and high stakes programs, including strong interpersonal skills and executive gravitas
  • Demonstrated engineering management capability; proven technical and personnel leadership qualities
  • Experience working on mission critical DOD systems at pace
  • Experience building and managing cross-functional teams focused around a common vision
US Salary Range$206,000$309,000 USD

 

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
