Job Description:

DHHS, Division of Operations, is looking for the next IT Applications Developer/Senior to join the IS&T team in Lincoln!

This position is for an Applications Development team responsible for providing IT technical programming services to Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) staff.

This position is under the Information Services and Technology (IS&T) Web Solutions Team and will work with a programming team that works on projects for multiple business areas within the DHHS agency. This position will also assist and mentor peers and subordinates, and consult with clients on application issues.


 

This is not a remote position.

Requirements/Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science, information systems, mathematics, engineering or other related field and two years of experience, education, or training in coding computer applications; programming experience can be substituted for education on a year for year basis.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience using Microsoft Visual Studio, .NET, C#, ASP.Net WebForms and MVC, Entity Framework, Kendo UI for MVCASP, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, CSS, HTML, SQL 2016 Database or above, Subversion for code repository, Microsoft Office, Visio, and SharePoint. Experience creating and supporting Reports via Microsoft SSRS. Working with DHHS systems. Experience in Agile.

· Experience in using the Telerik DevCraft Developmental toolset for ASP.NET CORE MVC.

· Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines and application deployments to the Azure cloud.

· Experience as an IIS administrator.

· Experience using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).

· Experience with LDAP and/or using Active Directory for authentication and protecting resources.

· Experience with XSD.

· Experience with CSS.

· Experience with HTML.

· Experience with XML.

Other: Regular and reliable attendance. Position is located on-site at the Nebraska State Office Building in Lincoln.
