The Denver International Airport (DEN) Center of Equity and Excellence in Aviation (CEEA) is actively seeking a Business Operations intern (“DENtern”) to contribute to their division. As part of DEN's Strategic Plan, Vision 100, which envisions reaching 100 million annual passengers, CEEA plays a pivotal role in transforming the aviation industry.

What We Offer 

The City and County of Denver offers a competitive pay rate to commensurate with education. The salary range for this position is $18.81 per hour. Denver International Airport emerging talent positions are required to attend all sessions of professional development within the cohort model. You will be onboarded with a cohort of peers to begin to help you develop your network across the aviation industry. 

As an intern you will get to experience working on projects such as, but not limited to:  

• Project #1: Responsible for the weekly design, distribution, and tracking of the DENtern newsletter 

• Project #2: Assisting CEEA Business Office Administrator with various clerical needs such as weekly report, schedule coordination, meeting notetaking, shared mailbox management, room reservations, and other items  

• Project #4: Conducting progressive research and innovation that will be presented at the end of the summer 

• Project #5: Assisting Youth Career Pathways team to facilitate summer youth programing including DENtern events, DEN Academy, Tours, and Project Takeoff. 

• Project #6: Co-creating interactive activities for workshops, meetings, and activities for various CEEA programs.
