Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Cage Cashier to join our team in North Las Vegas. In this role, you will be responsible for executing monetary transactions and maintaining accurate financial records while providing exceptional customer service in our casino environment.

• Process various monetary transactions including gaming chips, tickets, checks, markers, and fills according to gaming regulations and company procedures
• Maintain accurate window bank balance and safeguard casino assets during assigned shift
• Process credit applications and maintain customer credit files with attention to detail
• Issue window markers and manage safety deposit box operations
• Enter transaction data into computer systems, including markers, fill slips, and credit slips
• Handle customer inquiries professionally and provide information about current promotions
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation with necessary supplies
• Ensure compliance with all Nevada Gaming Control Board regulations and company policies
• Balance and reconcile assigned bank at the end of shift
• Document all transactions accurately and maintain proper records

Qualifications

• Must be {AGE} of age or older
• Previous cashiering or money handling experience preferred
• Strong mathematical skills and proficiency in handling various forms of currency
• Ability to operate standard cage equipment including calculators, computers, and money counters
• Excellent attention to detail with strong record-keeping abilities
• Professional communication skills with fluency in English
• Ability to obtain and maintain required gaming certifications and licenses
• Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 26 pounds
• Basic accounting knowledge and understanding of financial transactions
• Strong multi-tasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated integrity and reliability in handling financial transactions
• Problem-solving skills with ability to resolve customer concerns efficiently
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
