Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Assembly Teams operate assigned automated assembly machinery, ensure component flow, troubleshoot and correct machinery issues to ensure quality and productivity. They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.

 

 

What your background should look like:

This role will require the following responsibilities:

· Troubleshooting and diagnosing malfunctions of portable tools, terminators, and applicators

· Documenting all inspections, maintenance, and repair work as required using GATD repair center/field service software;

· Serving as a customer contact on in house customer tool repairs;

· Creating quote for all in house factory repairs and delivering quotes to the customer

· Analyzing and resolving problems with TE equipment and products due to factors such as improper

application, poor maintenance and quality control, failed parts, etc.;

· Analyzing and evaluating warranty problems on customer equipment, identifying possible defects,

and recommending corrective action;

· Communicating with customer service to create repair billing ;

· Maintaining repair spare parts stock (keeping track if inventory and ordering replacements s needed)

· Preparing and submitting complete, accurate, and timely reports related to repair activities, repair

Scheduling/dispatch list, and repair expenses;

· Using all available communication tools to inform, and be informed of, all repair-related activities,

issues, and events;

· Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and codes of ethics;

· Understanding the GATD service policy and utilizing it to grow service revenue; and

· Any other duties as required by the position.

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $20.72 - $31.11 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
