Overview

LMI is seeking a skilled Software Test Engineer to support LMI’s FORGE division.

Responsibilities

The candidate will work with a team of software developers and domain experts to test web applications in support of LIGER™, the ArmyLMI’s toolkit for building and deploying GenAI solutions to solve government challenges. LIGER™ transforms foundational large language models (LLMs) into customized, government-focused GenAI solutions for secure access to organizational data and aligns seamlessly with operational processes.

  • Work with a team of software developers and domain experts to design and develop test automation frameworks for web-based applications being built in a continuous integration environment. 
  • Design, develop, and maintain tests and test frameworks using Selenium, Java, JavaScript, and Cypress js.   
  • Actively participate in Agile software development activities, including sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.   

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • 5 years of professional experience with an emphasis on software test automation including test framework design, development, and maintenance/support.   

 Required Experience with the following:

  • Java and JavaScript
  • Typescript and React
  • Junit, Selenium, Jest, and Cypress js
  • Relational Databases (e.g., PostgreSQL)
  • Test Design Patterns
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of an Agile development team.
  • Experience and familiarity with the tools and environment to run integration and unit test.
  • Education:  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, engineering, and 4–10 years of directly related experience.
  • Clearance:  Secret 

Preferred:

  • Experience with Selenium Web Automation testing, Python, and Gherkin.  
  • Development experience within an Agile environment.   
  • Using formal ticketing applications such as Atlassian Jira.   
  • Experience working in a consultant / client environment.   
  • Experience working with Selenium Web.  
  • Experience with API testing 
  • Experience with performance and load testing 
  • Experiences with Locust
