RH is seeking a Product Craftsperson Apprentice to bring these designs to life, crafting exquisite, high-end residential furniture with unmatched precision and artistry under the guidance of our Operations Leader. This role is based in our Joseph Jeup manufacturing location in Grand Rapids, MI.

RH is seeking a Product Craftsperson Apprentice to bring these designs to life, crafting exquisite, high-end residential furniture with unmatched precision and artistry under the guidance of our Operations Leader. This role is based in our Joseph Jeup manufacturing location in Grand Rapids, MI.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Utilize a wide range of craft and technology to complete projects, including but not limited to the following: edge banding, wide belt sanding, machining boring, curved plywood manufacturing, jointing, sanding and assembly
- Identify process and system improvements and collaborate with the team to implement solutions and improvement projects
- Ensure weekly execution of production schedule while maintaining the highest quality standards
- Create and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- 1-3 years of experience in a wood related field or education preferred
- Proficient in reading, analyzing, and interpreting written information, including engineering drawings
- High School diploma or equivalent work experience/skills training
- Adjust to changing conditions and situations quickly
- Prioritize responsibilities, organize tasks and follow through to completion
- Continuously pursue excellence through attention to detail, dedication to superior quality, continuous improvement, and passion for the product
- Frequently moving and lifting items up to 50 lbs
- Frequent standing, twisting, stooping, kneeling, squatting, and bending
- Occasionally work in a high noise space, where PPE is required
- Spends time in a manufacturing environment
