<p><span id="cke_bm_465S"> </span></p> <p>Req ID 78983 | Bielsko-Biała TCB, Poland, ZF Steering Systems Poland Sp. z o.o.</p> <p>  </p> <h2><b>About the team:</b></h2> <p>We are looking for a new colleague for the position of <strong>Senior Accountant in our Technical Center in Bielsko-Biała</strong>. This position is responsible for supporting the Division C IFRS Accounting Team with various matters regarding accounting and financial reporting.  This position will work closely with Corporate Accounting, as well as various other functions.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>What you can look forward to as Senior Accountant: </strong><br/>-Support the division with technical accounting matters and compliance with policies,<br/>-Provide technical accounting consultation and support to internal constituents regarding IFRS Accounting and practical implementation thereof, including special projects,<br/>-Analyze impact of new accounting and disclosure requirements and provides Management with summary updates in a timely manner,<br/>-Provide high quality customer service and support to business units and reporting units in response to their questions regarding IFRS Accounting policies,<br/>-Review and optimize division accounting process including, but not limited to, inventory, leases, pricing, recall, and warranty provision/reserves,<br/>-Liaison and coordinate with external auditors on financial audit,<br/>-Lead person responsible for coordination and completion of asset impairment review bi-annually,<br/>-Monitoring of Half Year and Year End BOARD IFRS Notes disclosure for reporting units under Division C,<br/>-Support monthly financial reporting process when needed.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Your profile as Senior Accountant:</strong><br/>-Education: Degree in Finance/Accounting or comparable studies,<br/>-5+ years of experience in financial accounting, technical accounting, and reporting processes, experience in automotive industry preferred,<br/>-Knowledge of IFRS accounting standards,<br/>-Problem solving and analytical skills and ability to work in an international environment,<br/>-Strong communication/coordinating/presentation skills and comfortable working with all levels of the management, reliable and able to work independently,<br/>-Strong English speaking and writing abilities, <br/>-Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel and other MS Office products.
