Working with Richardson opens the door to a world of possibility. We currently have an opportunity for a Production Supervisor at our New Hope, MN pasta production facility. The Production Supervisor leads daily manufacturing operations to achieve safety, quality, and productivity goals while supporting employee development and continuous improvement.
Schedule: Sunday - Thursday 10:30pm - 7:30am
Pay: $77,000 - $84,000
Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate daily production activities to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations while meeting production throughput, quality, and labor utilization targets
Supervise, coach, and develop frontline employees through performance management, training, communication, and employee engagement initiatives
Monitor production, quality, and safety performance metrics; identify opportunities for continuous improvement and support implementation of Lean manufacturing and operational improvement initiatives
Partner with Safety, Quality, Maintenance, and Sanitation teams to maintain compliance with food safety, GMP, sanitation, and workplace safety standards, including participation in audits, investigations, and corrective actions
Lead shift communications, team huddles, and operational coordination activities while supporting emergency response efforts and maintaining accurate operational documentation and reporting
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution
Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role within a manufacturing environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours as business needs require
Strong leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, Engineering, or related technical field
Previous experience in food manufacturing and/or high-speed production environments
Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement methodologies, and behavior-based safety programs
