Empire Truck Sales, LLC is one of the largest Freightliner/Western Star Heavy Truck Dealerships in the Southeast. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Service Technician who is a self-starter and a quick learner to join our dealership.
We are seeking technicians who have experience working on heavy trucks, equipment, rental, or leasing fleets, automobiles, forklifts, gen sets, oil changes, tire service, motorcycles, or any similar industry. If you currently are in a career as described or similar industry, have your own tools, can retain what you learn, and can turn that knowledge into production, we can start you on a better path!
If you are a mechanically inclined, dependable, hard worker with a strong work ethic wanting a career in the heavy truck field, then you may have just found your last job!
Qualifications
- Previous experience and/or education related to repairing and maintaining equipment, diesel vehicles or heavy trucks
- Freightliner, Detroit, Cummins experience is a plus
- Tools as required of a typical diesel technician or mechanic
- Basic understanding of computers and computer software such as Microsoft Office Suite and other software on similar platforms that will be used to diagnose and document repairs
- Analytical skills to diagnose complex problems
- Valid Driver's License with clean MVR
- Class A CDL License is preferred
- Able to work a rotating shift schedule; some weekends required.
- Operating hours: 6AM-6PM
