Student Life CAB President

To aid in the planning and overall operation of Student Life & Development (SLD) activities to maintain and develop student involvement in Ivy Tech campus life.

Job Duties

Staff and monitor office operations

Develop and maintain an electronic database to keep track of office visitors, student attendance, and overall evaluation.

Be knowledgeable and current with all SLD programming and events.

Develop ideas, design flyers, and create marketing plans for student recruitment.

Develop and maintain office visual appearance.

Track office supply inventory.

Respond to and follow up with Student, staff and faculty inquiries (including, but not limited to health and wellness inquiries) by phone, email and office visits.

Manage campus bulletin boards in accordance with SLD flyer posting policies.

Remain flexible in planning, assisting with and carrying out SLD campus events/activities.

Monitor and report feedback on SLD activities, providing relevant management information.

Qualifications:

High School diploma required

Preferred qualifications:

Self motivated and able to work independently

Strong oral and written communication skills

Display a professional appearance and demeanor

Ability to work as a team member

Additional qualifications:

Home campus must be Anderson

Must be enrolled in class

Must maintain a 2.0 GPA
