About the role

Position Overview

As a Staff Business Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for configuring, managing, maintaining, and supporting the Smartsheet platform (including Smartsheet Control Center) to enhance productivity and collaboration within the organization. You will work closely with various teams to understand their needs and customize optimal and efficient Smartsheet solutions accordingly. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years hands-on experience designing, building and operationalizing Smartsheet solutions, and possesses strong technical skills, a deep understanding of Smartsheet capabilities, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Your role is essential in ensuring the efficient use of Smartsheet to meet business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and translate requirements for the design and implementation of Smartsheet Control Center solutions for portfolio, franchise (Business unit), and program reporting and analytics. 
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to design effective, intuitive, and useful Smartsheet reports, dashboards, and analytics supporting business processes, and implement best practice solutions
  • Integrate Smartsheet Control Center solutions with other systems (Jira, ERP, Clarity, etc.) to streamline processes and enable data flow and automation
  • Simplify, refactor, and streamline existing Smartsheet Control Center implementation, reducing time spent inputting data and reducing complexity and maintenance
  • Increase and improve the visualization of Smartsheet data to provide more intuitive information for decision making
  • Provide training, support, and change management activities to users on Smartsheet functions and best practices
  • Monitor and maintain Smartsheet systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability
  • Develop and maintain documentation for Smartsheet solutions, including user guides, training guides (in various formats), technical and administrative guides, etc.
  • Manage projects from initiation to operationalization, ensuring timely delivery of updates, enhancements, and refinements to the Smartsheet ecosystem
  • Measure effectiveness of Smartsheet solutions in order to continuously seek out and recommend improvements to overall ecosystem
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Smartsheet implementations and integrations
  • Create and operationalize a Center of Excellence (CoE)

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Proven experience with Smartsheet Control Center administration, implementation and management
  • Smartsheet Product Certification
  • Strong understanding of integrating Smartsheet with other systems
  • Proven project management experience, working in an agile environment
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Stakeholder management and communication
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, taking accountability for solutions

Preferred Skills and Competencies

  • Smartsheet Professional Services/ Solution certification

Education and Experience

  • 5-8 years experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
  • Demonstrated success designing optimizing and extending Smartsheet Control Center
  • Experience in Smartsheet Control Center administration
     

NOTE: This position is eligible for 100% remote working arrangements (may work from home/virtually 100%; may also work hybrid on-site/virtual as desired). #LI-Remote

  • Travel is estimated less than 10% but will flex depending on business need.

Additional Information:

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $108,900.00 - $163,350.00. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the primary work location in the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
