Vacancy detail

Task requirements   Domestic Considerations:  180 RSDs (ARRG 1 Project ToS [Army Reserve] or VeRR ToS for ex-Regulars), with ADC (subject to 1* endorsement (BGS))
Position Role:  Assist the RAO with the coordination and supervision of personnel administration for all reservist personnel administered by ASpU. 
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Lead on all reservist administration and reservist pay accounts including a monthly audit to ensure all administered SP pay is correct & regulatory compliant. This includes arriving SP on JPA, authoring RSDs on RAPs, processing CofE for VR SP and Employment Notification Letters.
2. Assist and advise reserve personnel with the iExpenses package and inform allowances they are entitled to; this includes arriving and departing SP on JPA.
3. Provide regular updates on policy changes and advice to the RAO ASpU and all staff branches within Army Headquarters;
4. Undertake quality Assurance checks on JPA.
5. Provide technical support & daily assistance to RAO.
6. To ensure the Unit is compliant in line with the G1A  relating to Reserve SP.
7. Other tasks as directed by the RAO and CO. Essential competencies   None specified Desirable competencies   Previous HR experience with

Additional information  

The post is hybrid, with the expectation of routine WFH. Applicants are entitled to travel whilst on duty, but the post does not come with an entitlement to accommodation. The post will require weekly attendance at Army HQ.

Previous service within the AGC(SPS) preferred but not essential. JPA training can be provided in role.
