Copeland Veterinary Hospital in Cookeville, Tennessee is seeking a Full-Time Veterinary Receptionist (Client Care Representative) to join our compassionate, fast-paced, and collaborative team. As the first point of contact for our clients and patients, you'll play a vital role in creating an exceptional experience for pet owners while supporting outstanding veterinary care.

Full-Time Position
Hours will vary based on hospital needs, but a full-time team member can generally expect:
- Four full weekdays per week
- At least every other Saturday
- Weekday shifts may range from:
- 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM
- 10:30 AM – 7:30 PM
- Occasionally later based on hospital needs
- Saturday hours: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Flexibility for evening shifts is highly preferred as we continue expanding our urgent care services, with future opportunities for shifts extending until 10:00 PM
Compensation: $14.00–$16.00 per hour, depending on experience
Some of the responsibilities you will own in this role:
- Greeting clients and patients with warmth, professionalism, and compassion
- Answering multi-line phones and managing client communications
- Scheduling appointments and coordinating patient visits
- Processing payments and handling financial transactions accurately
- Maintaining accurate medical records and client information
- Supporting veterinarians and technicians with administrative tasks
- Educating clients on hospital services and patient care recommendations
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
- Delivering exceptional customer service in a busy veterinary environment
Qualifications:
- Previous veterinary receptionist, veterinary assistant, healthcare, or customer service experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
- The ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced setting
- Comfort using computers, scheduling software, and technology
- A calm, compassionate demeanor during emotional or stressful situations
- A dependable work ethic and team-oriented attitude
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays as needed
