Overview:
The Director of Product Marketing at Nerdy will play a pivotal role in developing and executing go-to-market strategies for our comprehensive portfolio of AI-powered educational technology products. In this critical position, you will help shape how we position and market our live online learning platform that connects learners of all ages with expert educators across 3,000+ subjects. You'll be responsible for articulating the unique value of our platform that leverages machine learning algorithms and AI technology to intelligently match learners with the experts who best fit their unique needs. Working closely with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Sales, and Customer Success, you'll ensure our educational solutions resonate with students and families around the world.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Economics, or other related quantitative fields.
- 8+ years of experience in product marketing, preferably in education technology, SaaS, or consumer technology.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful product launches for subscription-based services.
- Experience with marketing to both B2C and B2B customers.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical capabilities into compelling benefits.
- Data-driven approach with strong analytical abilities to measure marketing effectiveness.
- Background in developing messaging for products that connect experts with consumers in marketplace environments.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment where AI technology is constantly evolving.
- Proven ability to use AI solutions to drive scale, efficiency and quality.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies for Nerdy's suite of learning products, including one-on-one tutoring, small and large group classes, self-study tools, and AI-assisted learning experiences.
- Develop and execute compelling marketing strategies for our flagship business, Varsity Tutors, as well as our institutional offering, Varsity Tutors for Schools, highlighting how our AI-enabled products enhance learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with Product Management to understand product roadmaps, focusing on how our proprietary AI technology and platform innovations can be positioned to different market segments.
- Create compelling product marketing collateral that effectively communicates how our Tutor Copilot, AI-Generated Lesson Plan Creator, and other AI-enabled tools revolutionize the learning experience.
