ABOUT THE ROLE

The HR Generalist plays a key role in supporting day-to-day human resources operations. This position is responsible for administering HR policies, procedures, and programs while providing support in areas such as employee relations, recruitment, benefits, performance management, compliance, and training.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, programs, and procedures.
  • Support full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Facilitate new employee onboarding by coordinating orientation, setting up accounts, and managing required documentation.
  • Administer employee benefits programs and provide guidance on enrollment, eligibility, and changes.
  • Assist in developing and implementing HR policies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
  • Manage employee relations matters, ensuring timely resolution while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Maintain accurate HR records, employee files, and HRIS data integrity.
  • Partner with managers on performance management, including goal setting, coaching, evaluations, and corrective actions.
  • Coordinate training and development programs to support employee growth and organizational effectiveness.
  • Support payroll processing and HR initiatives, including employee data updates, engagement efforts, and continuous improvement projects.
