We are looking for a student intern at our Festus, MO plant who want to become part of the solution, help us continue providing quality products, and grow our talent and leader pool.

Responsibilities

• Support the plant in ensuring that the equipment operates efficiently to maximize production rates and minimize fuel and power consumption.
• Support the plant and maintenance department on strategies for reliability and planning.
• Work with the maintenance department on all critical jobs/repairs.
• Assist with Root Cause Analysis.
• Assist with daily work planning and scheduling.
• Assist with work scopes and bid packages to solicit quotes for plant projects.
• Learn the process flow of cement manufacturing from quarry to shipping.

Desired Class Level(s):  Sophomore, Junior, Senior

 

Salary Level:  Paid - $30.00 per hour plus monthly housing stipend if applicable

 

Duration:  12 weeks, 40 hours per week

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills, self-starter and inquisitive by nature
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Word, Excel, Project, VISO
• Solid reasoning, analytical, technical and communication skills
• Must possess excellent work ethic
• Must be able to multi-task
